2) Minutes of the last meeting

Accepted and signed by Jane.

3) Matters Arising

a) ​Element of the Constitution has been rewritten and will be presented to the next AGM

b) A number of names have been put forward for new Committee members with a view to the succession of officer positions. We will continue to seek new Committee members

Item 6 - ​The transfer will be done this week.

Item 8 - ​It was agreed to put a questionnaire together to put to supporters at away games to see why they travel under their own steam and not on the coach. Jilly to put the questionnaire together.

Item 10 – ​The anniversary badges have now been made and will be available for members from the office on match days.

​The artwork for the shirts was discussed. It was agreed to proceed with navy blue shirts. Final version to be sent toGareth for his information.

Item 11b – The £50 donation was sent to Phil’s charity.

Item 11c) – Neil agreed to put a letter together and send to Bath and Chinnor relating to disabled access to their grounds.

Item 11d) – Geoff has printed off record of away trip numbers for comparison to previous years.

Item 11e) – Jane has now collected everything re The Followers from Phil’s family.

Item 11f) – Still no volunteers!!!

Item 11g) – The £250 donation has been sent to Sue Ryder.

4) Treasurers Report

Geoff presented the current position with regard to our current finances

It was noted that the Jackpot sales are showing a significant increase over last season.

4a) Banking

Jane raised to question of online banking. Geoff said that the bank requires all 3 signatories on the account to be approved before it will consider online banking.

The approval process is ongoing.

5) Membership & Outing Report

Outings

For the Nottingham away game there are 20 booked on the coach (at time of meeting). The coach will leave Bushmead Avenue at 3.45pm.

For the London Scottish game on the 14th December the coach will leave Bushmead Avenue at 11.00am.

For the Chinnor game on the 21st December the coach will leaveBushmead Avenue at 11.30am

Memberships

134 members to date (99 adult, 16 adult[FoB’s], 2 juniors, 15 life, 1 free (auditor), 1 Honorary.

6) Facebook Access

Following a couple of unnecessary posts our processes have been checked and indicate that all posts have to be approved before they are published. We have to now ensure that this process is strictly enforced.

7) Raising Awareness

This was held over until the proposed questionnaire (matter arising – item 8) has been published and answers received.

8) Marketing/Website

Jilly and Chris have been working to move the whole website to SumUp. This will enable coach bookings to be made from the website.

Kevin to contact Amy re ability to link a laptop computer with the TV in the SDC Suite for the next meeting.

The publishing of the Jackpot results and details of upcoming away trips are receiving positive feedback.

9) 75th Anniversary Celebration

The front page of our website is now showing that it is our 75thAnniversary.

Jilly will also include details in the Bath programme notes.

Members were asked to look back to see if they could find any photographs of when the Followers were formed.

10) Ladies Rugby World Cup

A question was raised by a member asking if we were going to run a coach to Northampton for the games held there in the Ladies Rugby World Cup.

The consensus of opinion was that we would not.

11) AOB

a) The Blues AGM is on the 20th November and Jane will be attending.

12) The next meeting will be on Thursday 12th December 2024 at 6.30pm in the SDC Suite.
