BEDFORD BLUES SUPPORTERS CLUB (BBSC)

How we use your data

BBSC uses your personal data to interact with you, this may be to advise you that you have won a prize draw, to inform you of news vis the BBSC Newsletter, BBSC events, details of AWAY travel and invites to Supporters Club functions along with other issues that may be of interest.

We use the Order Information that we collect to fulfill any orders placed (primarily purchasing a seat on a coach to travel to AWAY matches, or tickets for functions) through and with the Site (including processing your payment information, arrangements for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Screen orders for potential risk or fraud

Processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the BBSC Website), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), to improve and optimize our Site.

Our privacy policy sets out more details of this processing, including details of your data protection rights, including your right to object to certain processing.

What does this policy cover?

This policy outlines the manner in which BEDFORD BLUES SUPPORTERS CLUB (BBSC), hereafter referred to as "we" or "us," manages your data during interactions with our organisation and use of our website.

It also describes your data protection rights, including a right to object to some of the processing which BBSC carries out.

What information do we collect?

We collect and process personal data about you when you complete a membership application, either via paper form or using QR code. This includes:

your name

your home address, email address and phone number emergency contact details

We process this personal data for the following purposes:

To notify you if you have won a prize in any of our competitions from us or enter a competition we run.

Where you give us consent:

we will send you a regular BBSC Newsletter. if you are travelling away with BBSC you may receive information in respect to coach travel etc. during the season there may be events hosted by

BBSC which we will send you invitations to - this includes the End of Season Function.

Withdrawing Consent

We rely on your consent but remember that you can, and have the right, to withdraw that consent. Do remember though that WE WILL NOT use your data for any direct marketing or profiling, and we will not share your data with any third parties. You can withdraw consent at any time by sending an e-mail to members@Bedfordbluessc.co.uk. Title the E-Mail

"Personal Data Consent Withdrawal Instruction".

Who will we share this data with, where and when?

Personal data will not be shared with third parties or third-party service providers. We do not use a third part to manage our data on our behalf.

What rights do I have?

You have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data; to correct, delete or restrict (stop any active) processing of your personal data; and to obtain the personal data you provide to us.

In addition, you can object to the processing of your personal data in some circumstances (for example if you request us not to send you a Newsletter etc).

These rights may be limited; relevant exemptions are included in both the GDPR and in the Data Protection Act

2018. We will inform you of relevant exemptions we rely upon when responding to any request you make.

For BBSC membership the provision of certain information is mandatory: if relevant data is not provided, then we will not be able to process your membership. All other provision of your information is optional.

FULL & SUPPORTER MEMBERSHIP - How long will you retain my data?

For the 2025/26 season there are two tiers of membership.

"SUPPORTER MEMBER" and "FULL MEMBER".

SUPPORTER MEMBER:

Membership is valid from completion of your application process & expires on 31" July 2026. We retain your personal data for a very short while after this (to allow us to confirm membership will/will not be renewed), if not being renewed we delete your personal data.

FULL MEMBER:

Full Membership requires the setting up of a standing order.

Data is retained as long as the Standing Order remains in place. When it is closed, we delete related personal data.

Device Information

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
