2) Minutes of the last meeting
Accepted and signed by Jane.
3) Matter Arising
Jilly to put a questionnaire together for the next meeting.
Neil showed a draft letter to be sent to away clubs relating to disabled access to their grounds. The letter was approved and agreed that Neil could now sent it out.
Item 4a) - The approval process is still ongoing
Item 7 – Discussions are ongoing
It was agreed that our donation should now be made to the Blues. Jane proposed to meet Gareth during next week to give him the cheque.
4) Treasurers Report
Geoff presented the current position with regard to our current finances
5) Membership & Outings Report
Outings
For both the London Scottish and Chinnor away games there are 50 booked on the coach for each trip.
For the London Scottish game on the 14th December the coach will leave Bushmead Avenue at 11.00am.
For the Chinnor game on the 21st December the coach will leave Bushmead Avenue at 11.30am
Memberships
141 members to date (103 adult, 19 adult[FoB’s], 2 juniors, 15 life, 1 free (auditor), 1 Honorary.
6) Committee Succession
As we were tight on time this item was postponed to the next meeting.
7) Marketing/Website
Chris with Jilly’s help has produced an updated website and transferred it to the SumUp site. He sent a link to the Committee WhatsApp group for us to look at and comment on.
Initial comments were extremely positive and the Committee congratulated and thanked Chris for all his hard work.
8) AOB
a) Jane announced that there are still spaces for away trip sponsorship and suggested that we make a push after Christmas.
9) The next meeting will be on Thursday 9th January 2025at 6.30pm in the SDC Suite.
There being no further business the meeting was closed at 7.30pm
