1) Apologies

Sam Roberts (President)(SR) did not attend.

2) Minutes of the last meeting

Accepted and signed by Jane.

3) Matters Arising

a) The draft questionnaire was agreed and will be put on the website.

b) Jane and Andy now meeting on the 29* April.

c) The trip has been postponed to next year.

Item 8f - Jilly to check if the old domain license does actually run out in May. A decision can then be made as to whether or not we retain it.

4) Treasurers Report

Geoff presented his report concerning the position of our finances.

5) Membership & Outings Report

Membership

We have 1 new member.

Outings

Unfortunately, we had a bigger coach than expected for Doncaster and those members that were turned away might have been able to come. In future we will look to confirming numbers closer to the trip date i.e. 1 week before, in an effort to get the right size coach for everyone that wants to come.

We are going to try to get a squad photograph at the end of the Caldy game (similar to Ealing last season) so at the moment it is proposed that we will leave Caldy about 30 minutes later that normal.

6) Committee Succession

Refer to item 6 in 'matter arising'.

Linda has now joined us on Committee. Welcome Linda.

7) Marketing/Website

Nothing further to add to comment in Matters Arising.

8) Charity Donation to Parkinsons

Agreed that we would make a donation of £250.

9) End of Season Gala

At the time of the meeting we have 16 members confirmed as coming.

Jane to confirm that we will require 2 tables of 10.

10) AOB

a) At the Friends of the Blues evening we are happy to sell raffle tickets as we did last year.

A message was received from Chris Ashworth that a season ticket holder of 50 years or so passed away recently and could an announcement be made. It is for the Club to make announcements of that nature.

c) The online booking system of seats on the coach to away games appears to be going from strength to strength.

11) The next meeting will be on Thursday 8th May 2025at 6.30pm in the SDC Suite.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 7.40pm.
